Pleiades Journal of Teaching Young Learners of English

Issue #1 is now available for purchase. http://www.pjtyle.org/

Welcome to Pleiades Journal of TYLE, an online academic Journal devoted to Teaching English to Children and Teenagers.

This journal is committed to focus upon young learners of English as a group similar to, yet distinct from, the general ESL population. That's why our Journal stresses not only those articles that maintain such a critical focus upon actual research on these target groups but also seeks to place such research in an actual framework for teaching and learning.

Here you can:
* find our abstracts and articles;
* join our discussion group or mini-forum to interact;
* submit an article for a consideration;
* purchase a copy of Issue #1;
* find conference information.

Issue #1 includes:...

Article 1: Ali Al-Issa - Welcome to the Club: Trainee Teachers Develop Their Language Knowledge for the Classroom.

Article 2: Andrew Finch - Action Research: Empowering Our Teachers.

Article 3: Yuko Goto Butler - English in the Elementary School: Current English Language Education Policies in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Part 1.

Article 4: Mere Kepa - Critique, Diversity & Serendipity: Underpinnings of Indigenous Māori Pedagogy in an English-speaking Context.
