Traveling Through the USA on the ESL Express! Are Changing Attitudes and Altered Standards among the States Compromising the Equality of the Study of English for International Students?[/i]

International students come to us from many different countries to
study English. They settle in many different states. As the United
States is so large, and with so many variances among our States in
dialect and regional subcultures, how can the study of the English
language be equitably achieved? For SAMLA Conference, Nov. 9-11,
2007--By May 30, 2007, please send 250 word Abstract to Myrna J.
Santos, Florida Atlantic University, 3600 NW 82 Drive, Coral Springs,
FL 33065-4523 or via email to ESLCARE@aol.com.
